Why We Want the Entire Arrangement Back
Our flower preparation is done in the cleanest conditions possible. Our botanical products are kept fresh in sterilized containers using only purified water. Our storage cooler is cleaned and sterilized weekly. Our staff understand that superior quality control takes extra diligence and hard work.

When flowers fail prematurely we need to discover the cause to insure that our sytem of botanical product care hasn't broken down. Having the entire arrangement to inspect allows us to conduct a "Crime Scene Investigation" to determine the cause.

Things you can do to prolong the life of your floral arrangments.
Fresh cut flowers do not need sun. To maximize the life of your fresh floral arrangements do not display in sunny locations.

Fresh cut flowers like cool but not cold temperatures. Do not display your arrangments in warm locations. For example, on top of a TV or entertainment center where the heat from the electrical components will warm the flowers causing them to wilt prematurely. Do not expose your arrangments to freezing temperatures either as this will kill the flower quickly.

Fresh cut flowers need a steady supply of fresh water. Replenish the water in the vase daily. Do not allow the water in the vase to become old. Every two to three days, drain all the water out and replace with fresh. This is also a good time to recut the end of the stems to open them up so they can draw up an adequate supply of water and nutrients to nourish the bloom.

Caring for your fresh rose arrangements
Fresh roses arranged in a vase - Check the water level in the vase and add enough to bring the level almost to the top of the vase. Mix the flower food with clean water and add enough daily to keep the water level in the vase almost to the top.

Fresh cut roses in box or wrapped in tissue - As soon as possible fill a clean vase with tap water and mix in the packet of flower food. Arrange the ferns, babies breath or other decorative filler in the vase first. Remove all leaves and other foliage from any part of the rose stem that will be covered with water. Cut each rose stem at an angle back about 1 inch and immediately place in water. Check the water lever every day and keep the water level in the vase almost to the top.

Caring for your houseplants
Most plants sold as houseplants are tropical or sub-tropical in origins. Each has specific needs. The majority of house plants don't die of neglect - they die because of too much attention - too much fertilizer, too much water, etc. Be sure to read and follow the plant care instructions included with the plants you receive. You can download our free guide to caring for your houseplants from our downloads page.
